Structural color obtained by nanoimprinting a transparent thin polymer film deposited on Silicon. The nanoimprinted areas appear as colored squares on the otherwise dark background. The specific color depends on the dimensions of the nanoscopic features, which are ordered in patterns of pitch sizes between 400 nm and 800 nm, spanning the visible color spectrum from blue to red. Fabricated at the ICMAB Nanophotonics group.
